A woman phoned police to report she was being raped. The suspect, well known to officers, had fled by the time officers arrived but was found a short time later. Ismael Lopez, 36 yoa, was arrested on one count each Sexual Assault I and Sexual Assault II.

Adam Shapsnikoff, 34 yoa, was remanded to custody after officers contacted him about an unrelated matter and discovered he had been drinking in violation of his probation conditions.
Suspicious Person/Activity

A man well known to officers claimed that a collection of his good drinking buddies had been planning to harm him, so he absconded from the residence in which they were all gathered with the homeowner’s shoes. Officers contacted the various suspects and found nothing to corroborate the man’s claims.
Assault

Officers were flagged down at a bar regarding a fight over a girl, and learned that one patron hit another; the second patron then tackled the first. Patron #1 fled and was not identified. Patron #2 was asked to leave for the night.
Taxi Violation

Officer ordered a taxi out of service due to its having defective taillights.
Missing Person

Woman reported her son had left the PCR several hours earlier and had not been seen or heard from since. A few minutes later the woman notified police that her son had returned home.
Noise Disturbance

Complaint about loud music in the neighborhood. Officers responded to the area but heard nothing unusual.
Liquor Law Violation

Officer advised a man who had brought his own alcohol into a bar that he was not allowed to do so. The man left without incident per bar staff request.
Suspicious Person/Activity

Officers obtained a warrant to search a residence for a wanted criminal. Personal items belonging to the wanted man were found in the residence, but the felon was not found. The residents were advised they could be charged for harboring a fugitive if the felon were later found in their home.
Trespass

Unisea bar staff reported a trespasser had just fled the bar in a taxi. Officers confirmed the identity of the trespasser from video surveillance footage. Charges pending.
Suspicious Person/Activity

A wanted man allegedly gave a paycheck to a friend to cash on his behalf, and then tried to cash a duplicate of the paycheck the following day. Officers confirmed that the signatures on the two checks did not match, but were unable to talk to the victim as he is in hiding from police. Under investigation.

Officer secured a door which had been left open at a warehouse, after ensuring that there were no persons or signs of criminal activity in or around the building.

Officer ordered out of service a taxi with inoperable taillights.
Criminal Mischief

Bar staff asked that a man who had been causing problems inside the bar and who compounded the problem by throwing rocks at the bar, be given a trespass advisement. The suspect was tentatively identified but not located, as he had fled before officers arrived.

Complaint about four-wheelers being driven on the roadway. Officers contacted two suspects and warned them about the possibility of being cited were they to be caught in said act.
