Driver reported that someone tied a rope from his passenger side mirror to a steel pipe imbedded in concrete, so that the mirror was ripped off when the driver backed out of his space. The driver did not know when this occurred but wished to have the incident documented.

Caller reported seeing a driver back from a driveway and nearly hit a passing motorcyclist. The suspect driver first told police the motorcyclist had flipped her off, and then that the motorcyclist was speeding. She finally admitted she had not seen the motorcyclist and had not intentionally backed up in front of him.

Woman reported that she had nearly collided with a fast-moving construction vehicle on Steward Road. An officer contacted the suspect driver, who apologized for his driving and promised to be more observant in the future.

Officers responded to a fishing vessel whose captain refused to address drunken behavior on board and wished instead for police to deal with the matter. Officers found a drunken woman who was adamantly not reporting a sexual assault but who wanted to leave the vessel because her roommate had touched her naked body as she lay upon her bunk. The drunken woman left the vessel.
