US Coast Guard reported having received a distress signal from an EPIRB associated with the F/V Pacific Knight. Officers confirmed that the vessel, which has been unoccupied and tied to the dock for a number of years, was still afloat. They also determined that the EPIRB was missing from the vessel’s sea shelter. Other mariners later reported the EPIRB in the harbor.

Officer stopped a man for speeding and discovered he had none of the required documentation for his vehicle or himself as driver. The man later reported to UDPS with various forms of appropriate documentation.

Three men left the bar without having paid their food and drink tab. An officer was able to locate one of the men responsible; the man made arrangements to pay the tab the following day.

Caller reported a man who had previously been issued a trespass advisement was sleeping in his pickup truck just off of the property. An officer contacted the man and provided him with information regarding alternative lodging.

Caller reported a group of people had placed a black flag on the flagpole at the Dutch Harbor Post Office. The responding officer determined the group of people had nothing to do with the changing of the flag, and that the Postal Service had instructed its employees to fly the POW-MIA flag over the Fourth of July weekend.
Noise Disturbance

Complaint about a disrespectful neighbor. The responding officer contacted the suspect and two of the complainant’s roommates, and determined the complainant was mistaken about the cause of the alleged noise. The intoxicated complainant then told the officer he would have to assault his roommates. The officer advised him against this behavior.

Woman reported that another woman had approached her in a retail store and questioned her in an aggressive manner, and had challenged her to a fight. The other woman said essentially the same thing, claiming that the caller had been the challenger. A store employee confirmed that the two women had argued. The women were warned about possible criminal charges for such behavior.
