Assault

Officers investigated the assault of and threats made against a young man during the course of a dispute over a woman. Officers determined that Adrian Marquez-Chacon had assaulted a rival on three separate occasions earlier in the day, punching him, throwing him to the ground and threatening to remove certain key body parts. Marquez-Chacon was later arrested on two counts Assault IV and one count Assault III.

Officer advised several men who were drinking from open containers outside Harbor View Bar that doing so was against City code. Two of the men readily agreed to dispose of the alcohol while a third attempted, unsuccessfully, to hide his bottle.

Caller reported that the driver of a black pickup with a chrome pipe “drives around like an idiot all the time.” Officers, quite familiar with the driver, attempted to locate him but did not find him in his usual haunts.

Caller reported that the driver of a black pickup, parked near the South Channel Bridge, was attempting to push a female passenger out of the vehicle. An officer located a vehicle similar to that described, but found only a driver and no passenger. The driver denied that there had been anyone else in the vehicle.

A small outboard motor, worth about $1500, was stolen from a warehouse sometime Thursday night. The victim was able to provide specific details about the stolen item, its location and time frame in which it was stolen. Under investigation.
