A drunk who offered to help police with an assault investigation walked up to one of the tater-tot combatants, shoved him across the face and identified him by labeling him with a vulgar, Oedipus-type epithet. Brent D. Thomas, 45 yoa, was subsequently taken into custody for Harassment II.

Officer issued a trespass advisement, per bar management, to a belligerent patron who was instigating altercations.

Two men got into a fight after one man, attempting to protect his buddy’s tater-tots, told the tater-taker that he was the bigger and badder man. The tater-tot skirmish ended with one bloody nose and two ripped shirts.

Officer issued a warning to a man who he had watched get out of a taxi and begin to urinate on the side of the road. The man denied any wrongdoing and claimed his pants fly was down because he had left it that way when he exited the bar.

Officers responded to a report of an assault and found that the unidentified perpetrator had fled, the victim was not injured and nobody wished to pursue charges.

A man who was booted from one bar due to his rudeness and extreme level of intoxication turned up a few hours later for his second day as the doorman at a different bar. He quickly lost his job after an officer explained to his employer that his being on a licensed premise was a crime.

Caller reported having received a phone call from a strange number the previous night. An officer did a quick online search and determined the number was associated with a Jamaican scam. The caller was advised of these findings.

Officers advised two inebriates, one of whom was urinating in the street, that wandering drunkenly about the roadway in the dark was not a particularly safe activity.
