Caller reported his vehicle had been stolen from a bar’s parking lot, but said he simply wanted police to find his vehicle for him and not to actually charge anyone with a crime. The vehicle was not located.

Caller reported that someone had called her and screamed that she phone 911 because she was locked out of her house. Officers responded to the residence in question and found the screaming woman safely ensconced in her home.

Caller reported a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road in a construction area. The suspect driver told the responding officer that he had been confused about cone placement in the construction zone.

Officers who were dispatched to a reported fuel spill arrived on scene to find that the valve on a nearly-full 500-gallon tank had been broken, allowing fuel to leak from the tank. Officers utilized tools and equipment from the caller’s home to temporarily plug the open hole.

Officers received information that a theft suspect had been spotted entering an apartment building. Under investigation.

Complaint about a private vehicle using emergency lights and a siren. An officer located the suspect vehicle and driver, who denied any knowledge of the vehicle’s illegal auxiliary lighting system and claimed not to have activated it. The driver was issued warnings about the vehicle’s equipment and expired registration.

Officers contacted members of two large groups of intoxicated and bellicose men intently focused on insulting one another with various words and gestures. One man claimed that several others had tried to jump him, but no witnesses were willing or able to confirm this.

Bar patron reported that his vehicle, left unlocked and with keys in the ignition, had been stolen from the Norwegian Rat Saloon parking lot. An officer later observed the missing vehicle in the parking lot… of the Norwegian Rat Saloon.

Intoxicated caller phoned 911 because his intoxicated buddy had been cut off at the bar and had his remaining mouthful of beer poured away. Officers advised the two inebriates of the various penalties they faced for misuse of the 911 system and for remaining on a licensed premise.
