Caller reported that a hiker had not returned from a walk in the Pyramid area as expected. Officers responded to the area and after noticing a light in the distance were able to make contact with the late-night walker. He was not in need of assistance and declined the offer of a ride.

A man who had left dinner on the stove and had then locked himself out of his apartment asked for assistance getting into his home. An officer confirmed that the man was in fact the tenant and helped him gain access through an open window.

Company security asked officers to check on a man who had made comments about having lived a good life and having nowhere to go, after his employment was terminated. An officer spoke to the man, who denied any intention to harm himself and said he simply has nowhere to store his belongings and wants to give them away.
