A homeowner who had previously reported that people might be entering her shop advised police of fresh footprints in the snow near the shop. An officer determined the prints had been made by a neighbor’s child, and advised the child not to play in or near the shop or adjacent equipment.

A police officer responded to a location on Broadway at which a smoke alarm had been activated. The police officer determined that the smoke on the second floor was a result of a man accidentally roasting some plastic containers in his oven.

A couple inside their apartment investigated the source of a loud noise and discovered that a driver had backed into their porch and knocked down the railing. The driver told police she believed she had struck a curb, and paid the property manager cash to cover the damages.

Processing vessel personnel advised a man that his continued employment was dependent on him seeking medical attention; else he was to depart the vessel forthwith. The man ultimately elected to visit the clinic.

Officers responded to a processing vessel regarding a man who was exhibiting unusual and concerning behavior. After spending a considerable amount of time with the man, officers determined that though he might have psychological problems he did not pose a danger to himself or others.

An officer searching for the driver of a vehicle parked in a Handicapped Parking space at the PCR found the man running around the indoor track. The driver, who began limping when the officer approached, ultimately moved his vehicle to a more appropriate space.

A driver attempting to help a taxi driver who had driven into a ditch found that his vehicle had died and would not start again. Harbor Officers were able to help get this vehicle out of the roadway.

A taxi driver drove into a snow-filled ditch near the end of the runway. No tow trucks were available to remove the vehicle so it was left in the ditch for the night.

An officer who was mediating a dispute among several squabbling taxi drivers noticed that one of the drivers had placed numerous stickers in the windows to the extent that they obstructed the driver’s view. The taxi was ordered out of service until such time as the offending stickers are removed.
