Drunk Disturbance

Caller requested assistance with a drunken and disorderly subject at the airport. Caller also reported that the subject had been denied boarding due to his inebriated state. Officers responded, contacted the suspect and advised him to vacate the premises and to return tomorrow when he is sober. Subject was also advised that he was too intoxicated to enter a licensed liquor establishment. Subject eventually left the area.

Caller reported a vehicle parked on the sidewalk in front of a local business and requested it be moved. Offices contacted the owner of the vehicle and asked him to move his vehicle. The vehicle was moved.

Harbor Officer reported a disabled vehicle on the City Dock. Officers responded and located the suspect vehicle. The vehicle appeared to have transmission problems. Attempts were made to contact the vehicle owner without success. Harbor personnel moved the vehicle out of the way.

Officer observed an audible and visual alarm at a local business. Responsible party was notified and responded. Alarm activation was due to a faulty sensor.

Dispatch received numerous 911 calls from a caller. Officer responded, contacted the caller and conducted a welfare check. No emergency assistance was needed.

Caller reported an individual pointing a compound bow and arrow at various objects on front beach. Officers responded and located the individual. The individual said he was hunting foxes. The individual was advised of appropriate hunting areas and also provided a valid hunting license.

Officer observed a vehicle parked on the sidewalk with two occupants in the vehicle. Officer contacted the driver who appeared to be intoxicated. As the vehicle was not in motion or running, the driver was cautioned about driving under the influence of alcohol and the dangers and penalties associated with it.
