Two drivers who did not have an accident did have a minor altercation in the bank when one driver accused the other of nice driving.

Anonymous caller reported bunkhouse neighbors were playing loud music. An officer contacted the neighbors in question and advised them of the complaint. They remedied the situation forthwith.
Commercial Vehicle

Officer ordered a commercial vehicle off the road after he stopped the driver for a minor violation and discovered many, many other violations.
Criminal Mischief

Caller reported that a neighbor had used his chest freezer as a stool to gain access to a window, and had broken the freezer by turning it on its side. The suspect readily admitted to having used the freezer in just such a manner, and agreed to pay for a new one if in fact the freezer was broken as a result of his actions.

A dipsomaniac reported that another man had threatened him with an aggressive stance. Officers advised the drunkard to go home for the night.

A woman found that the inside of her vehicle had been sprayed with some type of mildly acidic substance which caused significant skin, mucous and eye irritation. One suspect was tentatively identified. Under investigation.

A commercial driver blocked traffic when he had to leave the trailer and container he was hauling in the middle of the roadway because of a broken hydraulic line. A replacement tractor was found to move the trailer.

Caller reported an oversize/overweight move was being conducted without the move having been reported to UDPS. An officer contacted the company responsible for the move and told them to call UDPS before conducting permitted moves.

Vehicle owner reported that his vehicle had apparently been struck during the night, and had sustained damage to the headlight and hood. Some tentative suspects were identified.

Martin Nunez Chavez, 44 yoa, of Unalaska, was arrested on one count of Assault IV after he approached a coworker in the Unisea galley, accused him of being homosexual and then pushed and punched him.
