Two callers reported 20-40 eagles feasting on discarded fish fillets conveniently left in the back of a pickup truck, and the sheer number of eagles made it difficult for other drivers to safely access vehicles parked nearby. An officer scared the eagles away and advised the owner of the pickup to properly dispose of the fish.

A driver pulled into an intersection without adequately checking for oncoming traffic and collided with a driver in the opposing lane. Damages were minor and no injuries were reported.

A man who had paid for a fraud protection service said he and his wife had received information indicating he had been issued a speeding ticket, and his wife had subsequently sent payment for the ticket. The husband did not recall having ever received a ticket and an officer was able to confirm that no such citation was on his record. The officer gave the husband several points of contact to verify the validity of both the citation and the fraud protection service.

A harried mother brought her daughter to UDPS because the child's tantrums were becoming increasingly exasperating. An officer deputized the little girl and encouraged her to set a good example - which did not include tantrums - for other children.

Officer discovered information indicating that a woman, who has since left the island, may have been sexually assaulted several months ago. Under investigation.

Unisea Security asked officers to issue a trespass advisement to a man who had caused multiple problems several days earlier. An officer advised that the subject in question had left the island.

Officers investigated complaints made by various parties to a Protective Order, but were unable to substantiate claims that some parties were purposefully causing problems for the other.

Fire officer investigated a complaint that a business was burning prohibited materials, and found that in fact creosote timbers were being burned along with other scrap wood. The business was ordered to extinguish the fire.

Homeowner reported a vehicle was parked in front of her tenant's home, with its lights on, and asked that officers determine why the vehicle was on her property. Officers determined the vehicle was being driven by a person who was visiting the caller's tenant.

Caller reported a vehicle apparently abandoned on a dock with the door open and lights on. Officers were able to contact an out-of-town representative for the company-owned vehicle, and obtained permission to secure the vehicle pending its being removed by a responsible party. There was no evidence that the vehicle had been stolen.
