A resident reported being assaulted by a houseguest after the resident tried to stop the houseguest from phoning police regarding a theft. Officer learned the victim had been pushed to the ground and had not been hurt. No charges were filed per the District Attorney.

Due to the unusual nature of this event, she asked police to ensure that the man was safe. Officers responded to the residence in question and saw a black-clad man stumbling around inside the house. He declined to come to the door.
