Officers responded to the report of an assault involving a knife. The investigation revealed that Glen Brandal, 59 yoa of Unalaska, attacked another person with a knife stating he would kill him. The incident was reportedly unprovoked; Brandal was arrested and charged with Assault 3.

Officers located an unregistered trailer with no lights or VIN at a local fishing dock. The matter is being monitored.

Caller reported that he had been looking for his adult daughter for years and a search of CourtView revealed she had been in the Unalaska area recently. Officers assisted in getting the family in touch.
Suspicious Person/Activity

Officers responded to the report of suspicious activity on city property. It was determined that city property was driven thru in order to park a vehicle nearby. The driver was not able to immediately provide insurance and was instructed to bring insurance to Public Safety.
Domestic Disturbance

Officers responded and found that a couple was in a disagreement about late fishing adventures. The couple was able to work out their difference for the night and would take up the matter after tempers had cooled off.
Drunk Disturbance

Officers responded to intervene between two men who were having an argument over bills and recently taken collateral. Ultimately the collateral was returned and the men agreed to stay away from one another.

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Meron Emahazien, 29 yoa from Sudan Africa, for Vehicle Theft, Criminal Mischief, and DWLS.

Officer contacted two juveniles out and about in the middle of the night. One of the juveniles was out after curfew. The juveniles were transported home.

Individual was first trespassed and then un-trespassed from a local business establishment.

Caller reported what she considered “stalkerish” behavior from a man she knows. He seemed to appear uninvited at locations frequented by the caller. The individual was advised to stay clear of the caller.

Caller reported a dog playing in traffic. An officer responded but was unable to locate the mischievous mutt.
Commercial Vehicle

Officer initiated contact with the driver of a commercial vehicle that appeared to have an unsecured container. A company mechanic checked the trailer and container and confirmed they were operating normally.
Animal

Caller reported a dog at large. Prior to officer involvement, the dog’s owner recovered the errant canine.
Traffic Roads

Caller reported a truck blocking the roadway. The vehicle’s owner was contacted and advised the vehicle was having electrical issues and that it would be moved shortly. The vehicle was removed later in the day.
