An officer following up on a complaint that Jonathan Merculieff, 28 yoa, of Unalaska, was driving without a valid license found Merculieff in the downtown area. Merculieff was arrested on one count of Driving while License Suspended/Revoked.

Complaint about flagging in a road construction area. Officers responded and found a flagger, clad in orange, at the site.

Caller reported that flaggers had denied one of her commercial drivers the right to pass through a construction zone, instead routing him through dangerously pot-holed private property. The situation had been resolved by the time officers arrived.

A man who had just purchased a roll of fencing wire reported that it had been stolen from the back of his pickup. Under investigation.

Flagger reported a reckless driver at one of the many flagger-controlled intersections. Officers contacted the driver of a vehicle which matched the complainant's description, but were unable to confirm that he was the suspect driver.

A driver left his vehicle parked in the middle of the roadway while he investigated the interior of a salmonberry thicket. The driver told an officer that other people had left their vehicles in the same location, so he assumed parking in the roadway was acceptable.
