Officers responded to the Harbor View Bar regarding a patron who had been given a trespass advisement last year. Officers learned the bar manager had given permission for the patron to return, but Security staff had not been made aware of the reversal. No charges were filed.

Officer conducted several commercial motor vehicle inspections and issued citations and warnings to drivers for a variety of infractions.

Caller reported people shooting guns near Summer Bay. Officers verified that the shooters were in an area where they could legally discharge firearms and that they had not displayed any illegal or reckless use of their weapons.

Driver of an oversize crane reported a taxi had passed him while his pilot cars and flaggers were preparing the bridge for safe passage. An officer contacted the suspect driver, who said she believed the driver of the crane had been waving at her to go rather than stop.

Complaint about numerous men always urinating on an electrical box outside the airport terminal building. An officer advised the caller to phone police when the men were in flagrante delicto, in order that they might be held accountable for their urinary indiscretion.

Complaint about poorly flagged construction area. The construction company managed to correctly sign and flag the area soon after they were advised of the lapse.

Employer advised that an employee was possibly a probationer who was not supposed to be in Alaska. An officer contacted state agencies in Alaska and Washington and learned the employee was not on probation.
MVA Damage

Caller witnessed a fender bender in the Safeway parking lot. No injuries were reported and damages were minor.

A man who actually spoke first to his neighbor and not to police about the neighbor's loud music reported that the neighbor's response to the request was such that the man decided it best not to pursue the matter. He asked police to document the incident, in case there were further problems.

Caller reported a reckless driver doing donuts in the high school parking lot. Officers contacted the suspect driver, who denied driving dangerously and said he was simply attempting to determine which wheel was rubbing on some newly installed fender flares.
