A trio of drunks took turns pushing one another and exchanging derogatory comments in front of the Harbor View Bar. The trio tottered off to separate taxis after officers arrived.

Caller reported three drunks, one of whom had already fallen down, walking through downtown. Officers found the trio and determined none of them needed to be taken into protective custody.

Officers spoke with the owner of a house in which a boisterous party was being held and advised him, twice, to turn his music down to a level at which his neighbors could still sleep.

Officers investigated a report of underage drinking at a PacSteve bunkhouse. Several employees and a security officer were contacted regarding the allegations, but no evidence of such crime was found.

Two callers reported a speeding vehicle. The likely suspect was contacted and, predictably, denied any wrong-doing. The driver was cautioned about his driving behavior.

A belligerent boozer broke a light fixture in the Harbor View Inn when told by security officers that he had to leave the building. The boozer fled the area but was arrested shortly thereafter and charged with Criminal Mischief IV.

An inmate whose first escape attempt was foiled endeavored yet again to flee the confines of custody, this time by attempting to dart away from officers outside the courthouse. Christopher J. Hadsell's virtuoso performance ended about eight inches after it started, when his leg shackles and the two officers on either side of him prevented him from going any further. Hadsell was charged with a second count of Attempted Escape.
