Bar owner asked for assistance recovering a $430 bar tab a man had accrued the previous night. The suspect, who had left an invalid credit card with the bar, stated it was his intention to pay the bill. The bar owner was satisfied with this resolution.

Caller reported trash strewn about the Unalaska Post Office, as if some altercation may have occurred. Officers found nothing to indicate that the building had been entered or otherwise damaged.

Officers responded to a residential fire, and found the house occupied by 30-40 partiers, one of whom was trying to cool an overheated boiler with a bottle of Corona. Officers evacuated the building, turned off the boiler's fuel source and advised fire personnel of the problem.

Fire personnel responded to a residential fire and doused an area that had been set alight by an overheated boiler.
Assault

Officers responded to the Harbor View Bar after being advised of a fight in progress, and found that Adam Shapsnikoff, 31 yoa, of Unalaska, was being held on the ground after he attempted to steal a taxi. Shapsnikoff, who was intoxicated, had first tried to take the taxi driver's keys and then tried to drive away in the van even after the driver left, with the keys, to get assistance. Shapsnikoff was charged with Criminal Trespass II and Attempted Vehicle Theft.

Caller reported gigantic boulders on the roadway. A strong and able officer removed them so that traffic might safely pass.
