A woman who was offended by the cousins with whom she was imbibing demonstrated the depth of her hurt feelings by breaking a window and kicking some doors, causing upwards of $3000 in damages. Paunena L. Choi, 20 yoa, of Washington, was arrested for Criminal Mischief III and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

Michael L. Sommerfeld, 55 yoa, of Washington, was issued a citation for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance VI after officers were called to investigate a marijuana-like odor emanating from his room. Sommerfeld admitted to smoking and turned over a small quantity of unused drugs as well.

Caller asked officers to check on a man who was known to have alcohol problems and who had not responded to repeated calls and text messages for the last 24 hours. Officers located the man and confirmed that he was not in need of any assistance.

Mother reported a wallet, with some cash in it, appeared to have been stolen from her residence. The house may not have been fully secured and the mother had not yet spoken to other household members about the wallet and money. Under investigation.

Officers responded to a residence from which an odd phone call had been received and found one person awake, one asleep and two too inebriated to know what was happening. Officers determined there was no emergency.
Drunk Disturbance

Officer observed a trio of intoxicated pedestrians tugging one another this way and that through a four-way intersection. The officer learned that the female member of the party was simply trying to keep her husband from returning to the bar to attack a man who had offended him earlier.

Officer responded to a home wherein one drunk was slowly and unsuccessfully attempting to get another drunk back to his own house. The officer arranged for a taxi.

Caller reported a woman driving erratically. An officer located the suspect driver but did not observe any of the reported behavior.
Death Investigation

A man who failed to report to work as scheduled was found dead in his apartment. Initial inquiries showed no evidence of foul play and the death is being investigated as a possible overdose.

Officers responding to a report that a group of about 20 people were itching for a fight at the Harbor View Bar found several intoxicated and ill-mannered patrons milling about. Officers determined that few crimes had been committed, and none which victims wished to pursue.
