Caller requested assistance with a man who was threatening to commit suicide. The man told police that our island is worse than Alcatraz, and is a trap from which nobody ever leaves. He also expressed a great deal of disillusionment with organizational politics at his place of employ. The man was eventually taken into protective custody.

Officers responded to a residence after receiving a garbled phone call about an emergency at that location, and found a man and his son in the midst of a wrestling match. The two were fighting about the son having had some alcohol earlier in the day, and the son began throwing things about the house. Officers were able to defuse the situation.

A guy reported he had been punched, scratched and cut by his gal, who had also kicked him in the jaw and removed yanks of hair a few weeks earlier. Christy V. George told police she accidentally hit her boyfriend in the face with her fist. George, 20 yoa, was arrested on one count of Assault IV.

Unisea Security requested assistance removing two mouthy, intoxicated and recently fired employees who had proved themselves incapable of remaining quietly in the rooms they had been allowed to continue using overnight. Both men were quite vocal about their discontent. Chris J G Bethea, 23 yoa, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct when his vociferous diatribe repeatedly disturbed others in the area. Charles A Smith, 22 yoa, was arrested for Criminal Trespass II when in the course of ranting he returned to Unisea property.

Apparently unable to stay away, a grown man returned to his parents' home and began banging on the front door. Jonathan L. Merculieff, 27 yoa, was arrested for Criminal Trespass II.

Two intoxicated men who fled after breaking a fire extinguisher case while wrestling in the Harbor View Inn hallway actually returned to the scene of the crime and politely offered to both clean up their mess and pay for damages. Their offer was accepted and no charges were filed.

A grown man and his mother engaged in an argument heated enough that police were asked to ensure that the son did not return. The son left after making a number of snide offers to his mother and the responding officer.

Caller reported a disabled vehicle on the side of road. An officer responded and found that it had already been moved.

A driver trying to accelerate out of a snow drift in which he was stuck subsequently slid and struck a nearby parked vehicle. Damages were minor.
