Felipe Lekanoff, 24 yoa from Unalaska, was arrested for DUI after he was seen driving away from a local drinking establishment in an erratic manner.

A caller reported someone knocking on his door at a late hour. Officers responded and saw an individual, matching the description given, running away from the area. Officers contacted the individual who denied being in the area where the officers had just seen him. The sotted individual was warned about knocking on doors at late hours.
Theft

Officer witnessed a dispute between a taxi driver and a passenger inside a different taxi. The driver was reporting the passenger owed money to a third taxi driver who was not present. The issue was determined to be civil in nature.
Abandoned Vehicle

Officer noticed a vehicle abandoned on the side of the roadway. The responsible person for the vehicle was contacted and the vehicle was later removed.

Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for erratic driving. The driver was issued a warning and was required to show proof of insurance and registration within 24 hours. The driver did so.

Officers assisted with an emotionally distraught individual who was having problems coping with difficulties in his life. The individual was encouraged to continue with the counseling he has started.

Caller reported that the Resolve Marine Barge that is usually moored in the bay in front of APL had broken loose and was adrift and nearing the Bayview Road beach area. The barge eventually ran aground on the beach and was later successfully pulled from the beach.
