The Heart of the Aleutians Festival was held Saturday, August 16th. The annual festival included yard and group games, a dunk tank, hamster balls, an inflatable bounce house and obstacle course, food, prizes, local vendors, and live music. It was all hands on deck this year as the city’s Parks, Culture and Recreation staff (including library, aquatics center, and community center employees and volunteers) all pitched in. Luckily, the weather held up and the community members gathered at Kelty Field were able to fully enjoy their Heart of the Aleutians experience. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success!
