In Memoriam: Denise Alexander-Levendosky

Denise Alexander-Levendosky passed away unexpectedly on October 1. The Michigan native worked as a paraprofessional at Unalaska City School.
Her friend, Jennifer Van Deventer, says Alexander-Levendosky "loved all her kids, past and present."
"She always had a smile, words of wisdom, or a helping hand to offer," Van Deventer says. "She was well-loved by so many and will be truly missed."
Alexander-Levendosky is survived by her husband, Brad, and three children, Nicholas (Baley) Alexander, John Alexander, and Bradley Levendosky. She leaves a brother, James (Joan) Jandernoa, and sisters Jeanine Ney, Michele Zigler, Sue (Don) Lemke, Marie (Steve Briggs) Mead, Mary (John) MacKenzie, and Jennifer Alzamora. Alexander-Levendosky is also survived by her brothers-in-law Scott Levendosky and Dennis Denton, her sister-in-law, Darlene Sheer, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Jandernoa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 4, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel in Grand Rapids, Mich. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 129 Jefferson Ave. S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
Friends of Denise have also started a GoFundMe account to help cover medical and travel expenses.
