The 2014 Music in the Parks Series kicked off on Saturday, July 12^th at Tanaadakuchax Park. Over sixty people showed up to hang out at the park, enjoy some music, and celebrate the Unalaska comradery. The Music in the Parks series was established three years ago as a fun way to promote our sense of community and to showcase our local park system. Throughout the summer, events are held at different parks to emphasize local recreational opportunities. Music, games, food, and fun are all in abundance. The next Music in the Parks event will be held on Sunday, August 3^rd at Town Park, in conjunction with our 20th Annual Bobby Johnson Summer Bay Classic.
