The Museum of the Aleutians 8^th Chocolate Extravaganza on February 14 was attended by 90 visitors. Over 30 local chefs volunteered and prepared chocolate dishes and desserts from Chocolate Chili to Chocolate Mousse. Besides the sweet festivities, guests of this annual event were able to walk through the newly designed permanent exhibit, and were treated to live bluegrass music in the Alaska’s Wild West exhibition room.  Ethan Nichols played the dobro and fiddle with acoustic guitar accompaniment by Todd Joosse. They played some of Nichols original songs. 

This annual affair encourages people to visit the museum, socialize with other community members while indulging in chocolate.
