The High School Department selected Ace Molina as Student of the Week for the following reasons:
- Ace has worked extremely hard to adjust to a new school. He comes to class prepared, works hard during class, and always cleans up after himself. Ace is kind and respectful to his fellow classmates, the school, and his teachers. Keep it up Ace!-Ms. Goodwin, Art Teacher
- Ace demonstrates tremendous effort and perseverance in General Science. Even though he joined the class mid-year, he has worked very hard to learn the new material and make connections with ideas from earlier in the year. I look forward to having Ace in class next year. Mr. Gregory -Mr. Gregory, Science Teacher
- Ace arrived here, from the Philippines, in the middle of this school year. Under any circumstance, transitioning to a new school can be challenging. Add to that the pressure of attending classes which are not conducted in your native language! Ace immediately got to work. He used a Tagalog dictionary, when necessary, and wasn’t afraid to ask questions when the dictionary didn’t suffice. He has continued to be an extremely focused and hard-working student. With each week, his writing and reading comprehension skills have gotten better and better. His friendly demeanor and quiet sense of humor has gained him many friends. It is a pleasure to have him in my classes. Congratulations, Ace! This is an honor you truly deserve. -Ms. Anderson, ESL Teacher
Ace is the son of Glisa Molina.
