Student of the Week for January 26 - 30, 2015

The High School Department selected Chellsea Rider as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

"Chellsea Rider has made incredible strides this year in American Literature. She has really impressed me with her desire to improve on past acadmic performance by replacing ineffective study habits with far more effective study habits-and demonstrating throughout all of this school year that she has the self-discipline to really stick with her new and improved habits of mind. Excellent job, Chellsea." - Ms. Rudio, Language Arts Teacher

"It has been an enjoyable couple of years watching Chellsea grow up and blossom as a student and a person. When she moved to Unalaska she was so shy, now she is involved in many activities and even playing basketball. One of my favorite things about her is that she is such a good role model and she treats everyone with kindness. Chellsea, I am so proud of you. Keep it up!" - Mrs. Herman, Basketball Coach

Chellsea is the daughter of James and Shari Rider.
