Student of the Week for October 27-31, 2014

The High School Department selected Chris Garcia as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

Chris has done incredible work in band this year. He was recently accepted in the Alaska All-State band, which is a huge accomplishment on its own, and even more so considering he is a freshman and is the first percussionist in years to make it from Unalaska. His performance at the fall band concert was impressive to the audience and his fellow musicians and he earned many compliments for it. This is all due to Chris showing focused, hard work every day. Chris is a motivated and capable student in General Science. He applies his developing study skills with his natural intelligence and curiosity to achieve to his potential. Keep up the dedication and success Chris! - Mr. Gregory, Science Teacher
