The Junior High Department selected Gianna Villafuerte as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Gianna is a very conscientious student. She writes thoughtfully, at length, and with earnestness.  Although quiet by nature, Gianna is an avid class participant and a leader by example.  She is positive, helpful, and works well with all.  Congratulations, Gianna!  - Mrs. Purevsuren, JH English
• Gianna Villafuerte is a very dedicated and hard working student. Gianna continually comes in the morning and asks for help and wants to check to make sure her work is correct. She volunteers on a regular basis and is very involved in her own education. Gianna has a very bright future ahead of her. Keep working hard Gianna. – Mr. Gibson, Science
• Gianna is an avid and thoughtful reader, and a frequent library user. –Ms. Adams, Librarian
• Gianna is one of the hardest working students in the Junior High. She is always striving to learn the content even when distractions are present. Gianna’s positive attitude shows in her daily participation in class discussions, group work, and assignments. Gianna is the daughter of Giovanni and Babehaton Villafuerte.
