The Junior High Department selected Henry as Student of the Week (August 31– Sept. 4, 2015) for the following reasons:

"Henry is a wonderful student to have in class. He is stepping up his leadership this year, jumping in to help younger students, making suggestions for improvement, and leading sectionals. He does all this with a great sense of humor. Keep up the good work, Henry!"
~Ms. McNamara, Band

"Henry travels the halls and enters the classroom with an usual vigor, both spirited and intellectual. He applies this energy to his work and to classroom discussions. It is at once beneficial to his own education, as well as his entire cohort, as it is contagious. Keep up your creative drive, Henry, and push it beyond your known bounds!"
~Ms. Purevsuren, English Teacher

"Henry Simmonds has started off the school year in style, displaying good maturity, work ethic, honesty, and fairness when being in physi-cal education class and in the his school environment. Henry was the fastest in the one mile run last week in his class and has also become very helpful around the PE department as well."
~Mr. Clausius, Physical Education

Henry is the son of Mable Simmonds & Adam Shapsnikoff
