Monday, March 02 2015
Student of the week for February 9 - 13, 2015.
The High School Department selected John Garduque as student of the week for the following reasons:
John Garduque is an outstanding student in my Spanish class!!! His maturity and attitude are great examples for the other students! He always strives for perfection and does his assignments the best he can. He is a delight to have in class. - Mrs. Roraback, Spanish Teacher
I met John, at the beginning of January, when he volunteered to participate in the Debate, Drama, & Forensics (DDF) competition. It did not take long for me to realize what an incredibly focused and committed young man he is. Along with his academic and athletic endeavors, John has successfully managed to make drama a priority in his busy schedule. As a coach, I could not ask for a better student. John takes to heart every suggestion posed to him. With each rehearsal, the nuances of his character become more pronounced and fascinating. I truly appreciate how gifted John is as an Actor. John, it is a very real pleasure to work with you. Congratulations on your well-deserved selection as Student of the Week! - Ms. Anderson, Debate, Drama, & Forensics (DDF) Coach
John Garduque is an outstanding student with a refreshingly unfeigned and voracious attitude towards learning. As I have gotten to know him better throughout this school year, I have noticed that John has incredibly eclectic tastes and interests that represent a very wide range of knowledge: mathematics, science, language, art, and music, just to name a few. An agile and creative thinker, John inspires both his fellow students and teachers through his obvious enjoyment in expanding his conceptual skillset. - Ms. Rudo, English Teacher
John Garduque is the son of Cleve and Marie Roll.
