Kei Kawada
February 10th–14th
The High School Department selected Kei Kawada as Student of the Week for the following reasons:
- I love having Kei as a student in my math class. He continually strives to do the best he can and never settles for less. Kei is a math student exemplar – his math skills are beyond his years. Not only does he shine in calculus class, Kei is a great choice for student of the week because he goes out of his way to help younger students with their math too. Thanks Kei and keep up the good work. –Brad Pate, Math Teacher
- Kei is a responsible, diligent student. He brings a great mix of intelligence, humility and humor to the classroom. –Jeff Dickrell, Social Studies Teacher
- Kei is an amazing student! I am very impressed with his ability to understand complicated grammar concepts and apply them. He is very motivated. He is always on task and produces high quality work. –Galena Roraback, Foreign Language Teacher
- Kei brings both humor and a great work ethic to our band class. He has taken on the challenging role of being the conductor of the pep band and it has been a joy to watch him grow as a leader and teacher. He sets a great example for other students and will surely be missed after he graduates. –Kerry McNamara, Band Director
Kei is the son of Itaru and Yasuko Kawada.
