Nov. 11-15

The Principal’s Pick for Student of the Week is Kiecel Tungul for the following reasons:

  • Kiecel is an outstanding citizen and student in our school system. She works hard in each of her classes, is actively involved in a variety of after school activities, and always has a friendly smile for students and staff alike. Kiecel is instrumental in helping to build a positive school climate at UCSD through her commitment to her studies and her positive outlook on life and school. Great job Kiecel and keep up the good work. -Mr. Wilson, Principal
  • Kiecel is a mature student that has been growing intellectually. I have been impressed by her ability to follow discussions and add her own thoughts. –Mr. Dickrell, Social Studies Teacher
  • Kiecel is a flat-out fantastic student to have in American Literature class, mainly because of her outstandingly positive, full-on, no-holds-barred engagement with whatever we happen to be reading, writing about, or discussing. She clearly values—and thoroughly enjoys—the learning process, and attacks each new subject with noticeable gusto. –Ms. Rudio, Language Arts Teacher
  • Kiecel Tungul is doing a phenomenal job in Woodworking class. Her willingness to try new machines operations and help others is awesome. Kiecel practices safe work techniques and makes sure that the people working around her are doing the same. Good Job Kiecel!!! -Mr. Haskins, Voc. Ed. Teacher

Kiecel is the daughter of Ike and Maricel Tungul
