Lisa Tran

November 25th – 29th

The Junior High Department selected Lisa Tran as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

  • Lisa is a quiet force in the English classroom. She unfailingly not only completes her homework on time, but gives every single assignment her best effort. Her work is high quality and shows excellent growth due to the fact that she revises meticulously, asks questions, and endeavors patiently to succeed. She is beginning to express herself in class and to make her good ideas heard by all. Also, let’s not forget Lisa’s respectfulness as a listener in class as well as a peer who works well with all. Keep up the great work, Lisa! – Ms. Purevsuren, English
  • Lisa has really started to blossom in science. She is always working hard in and out of class. She is beginning to open up and express her thoughts in class on a regular basis. She is always willing to listen, observe and learn, but she is more willing to ask questions and answer questions in discussions. Lisa is trying to better herself and gain a better understanding of the things around her. Keep up all the hard work, it’s much appreciated! – Mr. Gibson, Science
  • In history, Lisa has proven to be one of the top achievers. She is turning into a quiet leader in the seventh grade by her ability to turn in quality work at a consistent rate. Lisa is very well mannered and contributes to discussions with thought-out and accurate answers. She often takes advantage of every minute in class to make sure her work is at the best of her abilities. Keep up the good work Lisa and finish the year strong. -Kent Russell, History

Lisa is the daughter of Ha and Thoa Tran.
