January 20th—24th
The Principal’s Pick for Student of the Week is Louisa Seman for the following reasons:
· Louisa is an outstanding student and role model in our school. She works to the best of her ability in each of her classes and takes an active role in helping to make our school a more positive place through her actions and kind words to all she comes in contact with. Her smile is contagious and helps to make UCSD a better place. Great job Louisa and continue working hard and serving as a role model for all of our younger students. –Mr. Wilson, Principal
· Louisa can be counted on to be unfailingly good-humored, polite, and focused in my classroom. I appreciate her positive attitude and lively engagement with her studies and feel that she has done an excellent job of transitioning to the increased academic rigor of American Literature, in spite of the time and energy demands of her very active participation in high school sports. –Ms. Rudio, Language Arts Teacher
· Louisa is doing a wonderful job in Woodworking class. She has a great eye for detail and is on task while working on her project. Good Job Louisa. –Mr. Haskins, Voc. Ed. Teacher
· Louisa is an outstanding student and active learner in 3rd period Biology II and 4th period Fisheries. Her enthusiasm and energy are contagious and Louisa is always engaged in her learning activities and attentive to her laboratory subjects. Keep up the good work and maintain your excellent attitude Louisa! –Mr. Gregory, Science Teacher
Louisa is the daughter of Joseph and Susana Seman.
