UCSD Student of the Week: Steven Ugale
Wednesday, January 29 2014
January 13th—17th
The High School Department selected Steven Ugale as Student of the Week for the following reasons:
· Steven is an extremely self-motivated student in my art classes. He actively seeks out help to improve the quality of his creations and spends hours outside of the classroom practicing. In NYO, he has that same drive to be the best, challenging himself to spend the extra effort and time to fine-tune his skills. It’s his determination to achieve perfection in both art and NYO that makes him stand out as a success. Way to go Steven! Never let up! –Ms. Goodwin, Art Teacher
· Steven is doing a phenomenal job in CADD and Woodworking; Steven uses his creative ability to make some amazing projects. Keep up the great work Steven. –Mr. Haskins, Voc. Ed Teacher
· Steven is a hardworking student athlete. Many times in P.E. class, I mention role models in the school to my 5th/6th graders and Steven’s name always comes up. He is very involved in extracurricular activities and is dedicated to his studies. His work ethic will take him far in life. Good luck Steven and Congratulations. –Ms. Heard, P.E. and Health Teacher
Steven is the son of Soccoro Ugale.
