May 5-9
The Junior High Department selected Trevor Wilson as Student of the Week for the following reasons:
- Trevor is a phenomenal young student. He continuously strives for excellence in anything and everything he does. He is unwilling to settle for mediocrity. Trevor is always willing to participate in discussion, ask questions and be a team player. Trevor comes into class every day with a smile on his face and has a willingness to learn as much as he can. Keep up all the hard work Trevor it will benefit you now and in the future. Great job! – Mr. Gibson, Science Teacher
- While Trevor is clearly a strong writer and reader, he is most notable for his curiosity and pursuit of understanding about any topic he encounters. Trevor is the kind of student who, rather than rushing to finish a writing reflection in class, will ask if he can continue working on it at home so it can reflect his best ability and thoughtfulness. He is personally focused, spirited, and dedicated to his studies, but he is also an excellent team player and adds much to group conversations and projects. He sets goals for himself and does his utmost to achieve them, from branching out as a reader to making an effort to join class discussions. Such a mind-set will carry you far, Trevor! Congratulations. – Ms. Purevsuren, English Teacher
- Trevor is doing great in Keyboarding. His technique is perfect, his speed is fast and getting faster, his attitude rocks. Good job, Trevor. -Ms. Teresa Gurley, Business Teacher
- In a class of mostly quiet students Trevor stands out as a student who is willing to lead discussions and participate in activities. Trevor also puts in the effort and motivation to be very successful in History class along with the rest of his classes. He has developed into being one of the main leaders of the seventh grade group. Trevor dedicates his time and effort to accomplishing tasks asked of him by his teachers and to peruse further understanding of the material than what is required . Keep up the good work, Trevor. - Mr. Russell, History
Trevor is the son of Jim and Karie Wilson.
