Over Halloween weekend, the Lady Raiders matched up against the Cook Inlet Academy Eagles of Kenai for their first home game of the season. On Friday and Saturday, the Lady Raiders won both of their conference matches, giving them a 7-0 record in their conference. The Raiders were satisfied with the turnout and glad the community came to show their support! It was a successful and fun weekend of volleyball for the Raiders. Now the Raiders are focusing and preparing for their matches this weekend.

On November 7^th and 8^th at 7:30 pm, the Unalaska Raiders and the Su-Valley Rams, from Talkeetna, will go head to head and battle it out for a first place seat at Regionals. A repeat of the 2013 State Championship game, the Raiders and Rams match up is sure to be an exciting fight to the finish. Be sure to stop by the Raider Dome and cheer on your Lady Raiders!

Saturday night is also the Raiders’ Senior night, come help us cheer and support our eight Raiders who will graduate and head off to pursue college and future careers. The Raider seniors are Alyssa Roxas, Louisa Seman, Kanesia Price, Kiecel Tungul, Ashley Vaughn Robinson, Jhiddle Sugabo, Christian Escalante and Arielle Villena.

Friday night will also conclude the Volleyball Team Raffle Calendar Drawing, so come at 7:15pm before the varsity match and find out who won the first, second, and third place cash prizes.
