Unalaska, AK – Both the girls' and boys' high school basketball teams traveled to Bethel this weekend to play in a tournament. On Friday night the Lady Raiders faced Bristol Bay and won 43 to 41. On Saturday, they didn't fare so well. They lost to Togiak 45 to 22. Later that day they rallied for a stronger game but still lost to Bethel 47 to 33.

The boys' team had better luck. When challenging Bristol Bay on Friday, they won 51 to 38. The Raiders kept up their stamina and trounced Scammon Bay just as hard, winning 53 to 39 on Saturday morning, though one player had a minor injury. By Saturday afternoon the boys were tired and lost to Bethel 48 to 30 but they took second overall in the tournament.
