Unalaska, AK – More drug-related charges were filed yesterday in conjunction with the months-long undercover drug investigation. Thirty-year-old Gerald Wilson, a new hire on the Discovery Channel-featured boat F/V Cornelia Marie, is charged with one felony for snorting cocaine in the undercover agent's hotel room along with "Deadliest Catch" producer Matthew Schneider. He's also charged with a misdemeanor for selling the agent marijuana at the Harbor View Bar. Wilson is reportedly on the fishing vessel and headed to Kodiak and knows about the recent drug busts. There is a warrant out for his arrest as well as Schneider's.
Daniel Ejigu, 33, was charged with four felonies for selling ecstasy to the officer on four separate occasions. On one occasion sold the pills to the agent from small baggies that he kept in a box of coffee beans in his hotel room. He told the undercover agent, Officer Patrick Bliss, that he received shipments of the drugs in the mail. Another time the transaction took place in the Chart Room of the Grand Aleutian where Ejigu worked. Bliss was negotiating with Ejigu to become one of his dealers, but Ejigu was fired from Unisea and flown out of town before they could seal the deal. There is a warrant out for his arrest. He is thought to be in Washington where he has a residence.
