New Member Added to Federal Fishery Council

This fall, Alaska will get a new representative on the North Pacific Fishery Management Council.
Simon Kinneen has been appointed to the committee, which is made up of industry stakeholders and experts from Washington State and Alaska.
Kinneen is the vice president of the Norton Sound Economic Development Corporation in Nome. His seat was previously held by Eric Olson -- a director for the Yukon Delta’s community development quota group.
John Henderschedt of Seattle has also been reappointed to another three-year term. Henderschedt represents scientists and other academics.
