Unalaska, AK – Another case related to last year's drug bust has wrapped up.
Last week, Cory Merrifield, 22, was sentenced to five years in prison, with two and half suspended, along with three years probation for misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was also sentenced to 180 days, with 120 suspended, for violating the conditions of his release. All other charges were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
The sweep occurred last April, and Merrifield was arrested after selling Oxycontin to an undercover police officer. Recently, Joanne Lee and John Bruce, Jr. also pleaded guilty to crimes related to the drug bust.
