The mysteries of Alaska

Thursday, October 07 2010

Unalaska, AK – Stan Jones is a writer based in Anchorage, but he's lived all across the state of Alaska. He's the author of the Nathan Active mystery novels, which are set in a village modeled after Kotzebue. He has also co-authored a book about the Valdez oil spill. He's in Unalaska this week, talking about his series and hosting a writer's workshop.

Before coming out here, he chatted with KUCB about his books, about his favorite Alaskan authors, and why exactly it's such a challenge to write about this state.
