Zachary J. Lewis, 18 yoa, was charged with No Valid Operators Permit after an officer observed him doing a poor job of parking in front of a bar. Lewis told the officer he was the designated driver for the night, but admitted he did not actually have a license to drive.

DUI

Bar staff reported an intoxicated man was first, attempting to drive away from the bar and second, attempting to re-enter the bar though he had been asked to leave. Responding officers discovered that Daniel J. Kimmel, 47 yoa, had backed from his parking space and had stopped when told that police had been called. Kimmel, who admitted to consuming alcohol, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for Driving under the Influence.

Woman asked police to help her remove her husband and his brother from her residence. Officers found the intoxicated husband hiding behind the house, and both men were advised to leave.
Welfare Check

Mother reported that her teenage daughter was at a friend’s house without permission. Officers eventually located the girl hiding in a closet at a male friend’s apartment. Company security told the daughter she was not allowed on the property.

An unoccupied vehicle rolled from the parking lot at CarQuest into the roadway. The owner of the responded to the scene and quickly moved it out of traffic.

Woman reported having received two harassing text messages from a local cell number, which she believed was being used as a front for her ex-husband. She also reported that she’d he was behaving scandalously at local bars and restaurants, and asked that his behavior be documented.

A speeding, intoxicated driver drove an uninsured vehicle into a ditch, injuring one of three passengers. Faataitai Ese, 27 yoa, was arrested on charges of Assault III, Reckless Endangerment, Driving under the Influence, Reckless Driving and Driving without a Valid Operator’s License.

Officers investigated a fender-bender involving three vehicles in a parking lot. The suspect driver told police he accelerated instead of braking while he attempted to park, and thus swiped the bumper of one vehicle before colliding with another. No injuries were reported.

Woman requested assistance getting into her locked residence. The responding officer found that the woman had been able to gain entry without police assistance.
