Taxi driver reported that a man had broken the windshield to her taxi. The driver told police she didn’t want to press charges if the suspect paid for the repairs. The suspect promised to do so.

Taxi driver reported that a passenger had fled from her taxi into a bunkhouse, without paying his fare. The driver told police she didn’t want to press charges if he paid, and she didn’t want to press charges if he didn’t. The suspect was not identified or located.

Officers responded to a bar regarding a complaint about a vulgar and disruptive patron. The patron, who said he simply wanted to enjoy his birthday, was reminded that the bar is private property and that he could be asked to leave.
Liquor Law Violation

Doorman reported a possibly underage person using a fake ID to enter the bar. Officers found that the suspect was in fact of age, but had used someone else’s ID when he discovered he did not have his own. The young man was warned that he could be charged for said behavior.

Officer issued a trespass advisement at the request of bar management to a man who argued with bar staff about his ability to drive.
DUI

Jose S. Villegas, 43 yoa, was arrested for Driving under the Influence after bar staff reported that he had driven away from the bar after having been drinking for several hours. Villegas, who was located about 30 minutes later, denied drinking but failed field sobriety tests.

Officer directed traffic around a vehicle whose driver was replacing a flat tire.
Domestic Disturbance

Officers spoke with both a husband and wife after the wife called police to report escalating and potentially dangerous problems in their marriage. No charges were filed in this instance but the parties were advised to separate and to consider that further actions could result in criminal charges.
