Officers assisting EMS personnel discovered that the patient had been injured after the driver of the stolen vehicle in which he was riding purposefully drove into a rock wall at a high rate of speed. Evan Jeffrey Aus, 24 yoa, who was supposed to be monitored by a third-party custodian, was subsequently arrested and charged with Assault II, Vehicle Theft I, Criminal Mischief III, Reckless Endangerment, Assault IV and Violating Conditions of Release.
