Father reported finding drugs and paraphernalia in his son’s room, and asked for officer assistance. Responding officers observed same upon arrival, and learned from the parents that the son has been spending considerable time with others suspected of being involved in drug use and/or sales. Under investigation.

Officers searched the Unalaska High School after finding a door unlocked. Two persons employed at the school were found inside the building and a third school employee was identified as the person responsible for leaving the door unlocked. There was no indication of any damage or other wrongdoing inside the building.

A driver who parked with his standard transmission vehicle still in gear and then got out of the driver’s seat, suddenly found his vehicle driving itself into the Alyeska Trading Store building. Damage to the building was estimated at $5000. No injuries were reported.
