Caller reported a man behaving suspiciously in a bar, as if he were conducting illegal drug transactions. Responding officers found the suspect rooting about in a vehicle upon their arrival. No drugs were found.

Officers checked on a woman whom a third-party caller had reported was a victim of domestic abuse. The woman advised that she had been assaulted quite some time ago, that her partner had been arrested at the time and that there had been no further incidents.

Ismael D. Lopez, 35 yoa, was arrested for Driving under the Influence and Driving while License Suspended/Revoked after officers contacted him regarding a potentially stolen vehicle and discovered he had a revoked license and had been drinking prior to driving his borrowed vehicle.

Caller was upset because she had loaned her vehicle to three of her comrades and nearly an hour later they had not returned. An officer responded to the caller’s residence as the suspect occupants returned, and discovered that the driver not only had no valid license but had also been drinking prior to driving home.  Charges of Permitting Unauthorized Person to Drive pending for caller Gail Dushkin, 49 yoa, who was aware that the driver had a revoked license,

Caller complained about a dump truck driver who, apparently distracted by his cell phone conversation, was driving in the center of the roadway and had nearly struck her. The truck driver told the responding officer that the female driver simply hadn’t been paying attention.

Officers contacted an intoxicated and distraught woman who had called police claiming she wished to kill herself and who then said she was simply upset with her friend and wanted to go home but was unable to walk there. Officers provided courtesy transport for the inebriate after determining she did not pose a threat to herself.
