Fire and EMS volunteers on a training run reported a driver had swerved off the road several times before turning in at a grocery store. An officer contacted the suspect driver, who said he had been pulling off the road for all the ambulance and fire trucks, even though they were not using lights and sirens. The officer advised the driver that he is required to pull over and stop when the emergency vehicles are using lights and sirens, but not otherwise.

Officer observed two young men utilizing an unsecured business hotspot to download music. The men admitted they did not have permission to use the service and promptly left the area. The business to whom the hotspot belongs was advised.

Caller reported that he and several others had seen a light on “Mount Eider.” Harbor and USCG checked the area periodically over a two-day period without noting anything unusual, and ADOT advised that all local aircraft were accounted for.

Marty A. Knott, 46 yoa, of Montana, was arrested for Driving under the Influence after an observed him speeding away from a bar, and stopped him a short time later.
