Taxi driver called to complain that she had given a man a ride two different times and both times he had told her he’d pay her later but hadn’t. An officer advised the passenger to pay the fare, and suggested to the driver that perhaps she should ensure her passengers have funds with which to pay before transporting them.

Caller reported hearing yelling and screaming from a nearby apartment. Officers responded and found a couple had been arguing about taking out the trash, after which one of them slammed a few doors and left the apartment.

Man in California asked police to check on his brother, from whom he had not heard for over two weeks. The out-of-state caller knew the name of the company for which his brother worked. UDPS staff phoned the employer, learned that the brother was still employed there, and phoned the caller with this information.

A woman, upset because a coworker with whom she claimed to have had a year-long relationship was no longer speaking to her, followed the man into his bathroom and refused to let him leave without talking to her. The coworker, who told police the two of them had sex but otherwise had no relationship, shoved her into a towel rack in order to get away and told her to take her clothes with her. Neither party had injuries nor were charges filed.

A young boy phoned police at his mother’s behest, after the mother’s boyfriend began yelling and destroying about $800 worth of electronic equipment in their living room. Officers found the man yelling at and flailing his arms in the face of the boy’s mother. James R. Brooks Jr., 39 yoa, was arrested on one count Criminal Mischief IV - DV.

A man who had been cuckolded said his wife’s former paramour had threatened him and his son; the paramour in turn said it was the husband who had threatened him and made it quite clear to officers that he would defend himself if the husband made good on his threats. Officers advised both men to avoid contact with one another.

Two adult males who had been bickering like children ever since they began working together on a fishing boat engaged in an altercation involving some choking, punching and threats by one or both parties. No charges were filed per the District Attorney and the vessel captain said he intended to have the two men put on different boats.

The brother of the inebriated bar patron reported that his sibling had attacked him. Responding officers found one brother with a bite mark on his hand, and another with splotchy red marks on his chest and shoulders. The siblings provided stories that were inconsistent with the officers’ observations and the two were ultimately grounded in their respective rooms.

bar staff requested assistance with a hostile patron who refused to leave and was bellowing in the parking lot. Officers located the inebriated patron and his brother and advised both of them not to return to the bar this night. The two men left in a cab.

Officer advised a caller who wished to return to his former home for some personal belongings, that he should first set a date and time with the homeowner for said excursion.

Complaint about youth playing music too loudly at the tennis courts. An officer responded, asked them to turn it down, and they did.

Postmistress, who advised that four postal patrons had been attacked in the last week, asked for additional signage warning of the threat posed by a pair of nesting national symbols.

A patron of the Dutch Harbor Post Office was attacked by a nesting eagle as she wheeled a package cart into the building. The woman was treated at the clinic for several puncture wounds to her scalp and ear.
