Caller reported that two men appeared ready to fight one another near the South Channel Bridge. Officers contacted the men, who admitted to having been in a heated argument but denied having fought or planning to fight with one another.

Officers contacted a drunk who was staggering along the roadway near the South Channel Bridge, and learned that he’d had an unintentional bowel movement and planned to stop in at a friend’s house as soon as he’d crossed the bridge. Officers confirmed that he made it safely into the residence in question.

Vessel personnel reported that a rental vehicle, which had been left undamaged at their dock about 12 hours earlier, had a shattered rear window. No items were reported stolen and the responding officer noted that there was little to no glass inside the vehicle.

Officer advised an intoxicated man who had swayed from a bar to his car that he should not drive and would be arrested if he did so. The inebriate complained about being treated unfairly.
